Creative Strategy & Advertising

There’s a big difference between making an ad and figuring out what the ad should say.

You can have beautiful photography, polished design, and a healthy media budget and still end up with creative that gives people absolutely no reason to stop scrolling.

The work before the execution matters.

We look at what you're selling, who you're selling it to, what they already believe, what they're skeptical of, what your competitors keep saying, and where there might be an opportunity to say something more interesting.

Sometimes that means finding the overlooked benefit buried halfway down a product page. Sometimes it's recognizing that the thing a brand considers a minor detail is exactly what its customer cares about. Sometimes it's realizing everyone in the category is making the same claim and finding somewhere else to compete.

Then we turn those insights into creative directions you can actually do something with.

That might become a paid social campaign, a series of UGC concepts, a product launch, a VSL, a new messaging direction, or a bank of creative concepts your team can test and build from.

And because strategy and execution live under the same roof, the thinking doesn't disappear once it's handed off to a designer or writer. The idea carries through the copy, script, visual direction, and final creative.

Websites & Digital

Your website has a bigger job than proving your business exists.

Someone landing there may have heard your name from a trainer, seen your product at a show, found you through Google, clicked over from Instagram, or spent the last twenty minutes comparing you with three other options.

By the time they leave, they should understand exactly what you do, why it matters, and what to do next.

That means thinking beyond individual pages.

We look at how someone moves through your site, what questions they need answered along the way, where they're likely to hesitate, what information deserves more attention, and what might be getting in the way of taking the next step.

For service businesses, that could mean turning a referral into an inquiry. For equine brands, it might mean making a complicated product easier to understand. For an organization, event, or facility, it could mean organizing a lot of information without making people dig for what they need.

The goal is a website that does its job even when you're somewhere else doing yours.

What's included:

  1. Website strategy & information architecture

  2. Custom website design & development

  3. Website & landing page copywriting

  4. User experience & conversion strategy

  5. SEO strategy & on-page optimization

  6. Landing pages & campaign pages

  7. Google Business Profile & local search strategy, where relevant

  8. Existing website audits & optimization

Content & Production

Some of the best material never makes it out of the barn, the workshop, the arena, or the conversation where someone casually says something brilliant.

That's usually where we start.

There are stories buried in how a product gets made. Years of knowledge inside the head of a trainer who's never thought to write it down. Customer questions that could become an entire educational series. Tiny moments during a shoot that tell you more about a horse, person, or brand than anything you could have storyboarded.

Our job is to notice those things and figure out what they're capable of becoming.

One idea might turn into an email. Another might deserve a three-minute video. A conversation could become six months of educational content. A day at the barn might produce the photography, short-form video, interviews, and social assets a brand needs for an entire campaign.

We don't start by deciding you need more content. We start by finding something worth making.

From there, we write it, design it, shoot it, edit it, or build the system your team needs to keep using it.

What's included:

  1. Content strategy & editorial planning

  2. Email campaigns, sequences & newsletters

  3. Blogs, articles & long-form editorial

  4. Photography & equine portraiture

  5. Video & short-form production

  6. Social content & copy

  7. Branded graphics & design assets

  8. Educational & thought-leadership content

  9. Ongoing content production

Have Something Else in Mind?

Phoenix The Grey, Co-Founder of Equine Edge Creative

Not every good idea fits neatly into a service list.

Maybe you're launching something the horse world hasn't seen before. You need a campaign that involves a little bit of everything. You have an idea scribbled in a notebook but aren't quite sure what it should become. Or maybe you just know the thing you're imagining isn't sitting in a package on this page.

Good.

Some of the most interesting creative work starts there.

Equine Edge Creative brings together strategy, writing, design, advertising, digital, photography, video, and production, which means we can build around the idea instead of trying to squeeze the idea into a predetermined service.

If it involves the horse world and needs a creative brain behind it, we want to hear about it.

How We Work

Every project starts somewhere different.

You might come to us with a fully formed brief and a launch date already on the calendar. You might have a product that isn't selling the way it should. You might know your website needs work but not know exactly what's wrong with it. Or you might have an idea you're excited about and need someone to help figure out what it could become.

You don't need to have the creative solution figured out before you get in touch. That's part of our job.

1. Tell Us What’s Going On
We start with the business, the audience, and what you're trying to accomplish. We'll talk about what you're making, selling, building, or trying to change, along with what's working, what's not, and anything you've already tried.

2. We Dig In
This is where the questions, research, and thinking happen. Depending on the project, we might look at your audience, competitors, category, existing creative, customer feedback, analytics, brand, or the larger horse-world context surrounding what you're doing.

3. We Find the Way In
Then we figure out what the project actually needs. That could mean a campaign concept, a new website, a creative direction, a shoot, a content strategy, or some combination of services. You'll know what we're recommending, why we're recommending it, and what we're going to make.

4. We Make It
Writing, designing, shooting, scripting, building, editing, directing. This is where the thinking becomes something real. Depending on the project, we can take it all the way through final execution or create what your internal team needs to carry it forward.

5. We See What Happens Next
For ongoing and performance-driven work, we pay attention to what happens once the creative is out in the world. What worked? What didn't? What did we learn? And what should we do differently next time?
